ENERGY FRUIT GUMS FOR ATHLETES! Energy Fruit Gums are a popular and functional alternative to energy gels and drinks. They bring variety to the energy supply with their tropical fruit flavor and are easy to use. An absolute special feature of Squeezy Energy Gums compared to many other fruit gums known to us on the market is the use of high-quality maltodextrin as an energy source in the product. Sodium and potassium (electrolytes) are of course also included and replace electrolytes lost by the body through sweating. The ingredients dissolve in the mouth as soon as they are sucked. One bag of Energy Fruit Gum contains about as much energy as three 33g sachets of SQUEEZY ENERGY GEL.

The product is designed for use during sports. You can recognize this on the label of our products by the BDA infographic. The individual need for carbohydrates and proteins is different for each athlete and depends on many factors.

Average carbohydrate requirement of an athlete in the basic endurance range 1/2

  • physical requirements (age, weight, height, gender)
  • Condition of the route (altitude profile and surface)
  • Sport
  • individual performance and intensity (GA1 / GA2)

Basic endurance 1 (GA1): Training is completed at a heart rate of about 60-70% of max. heart rate. 30-40g carbohydrates / hour
Basic endurance 2 (GA2)Training/competition is completed at a heart rate of approx. 70 to 80 % of the maximum heart rate. 40-80g carbohydrates / hour

We recommend to include the product as part of the nutrition strategy in training and competition. The sole supply of energy by means of Energy Fruit Gums is possible in principle, but is not recommended.

We recommend taking up to one sachet per hour of exercise. This corresponds to 72 g of carbohydrates.
